Transforming this challenging Boyertown site into a serene outdoor retreat required innovative solutions and meticulous planning. Faced with poor drainage, a nearby bank, and an obstructive propane tank, the homeowners envisioned a space where they could enjoy quiet mornings with coffee and relaxing evenings by the fire. Woodland Landscapes rose to the challenge, relocating the propane tank and installing an open stone trench at the top of the hill to divert runoff effectively.
To create the inviting outdoor space, we selected EP Henry cast stone walls and chiseled stone pavers for their natural, stone-like appearance. The bank was thoughtfully landscaped with spreading shrubs and perennials to control erosion and add visual appeal. Leading from the driveway, specimen evergreens guide you through the space, enhancing the journey with their structured beauty. At night, strategic lighting illuminates the bank and highlights the fire pit area, bringing the space to life and ensuring it can be enjoyed at any time.
